Can DualSun panels use thin-film solar cells?
We have explored this possibility but ultimately dismissed it in order to stick with the best-developed photovoltaic technology: monocrystalline silicon solar cells. With thin film solar cells, the benefits do not yet outweigh the costs, but we are continuing to monitor this and other new innovations in photovoltaics.
