What is the maximum number of Spring panels that can be connected in series on the same branch?

Up to 6 DualSun Spring hybrid solar panels can be connected hydraulically.

This number was determined by filling tests with the thermal camera to check for proper venting.

In order to purge the air properly, it is necessary to increase the filling rate to a level of:

  • 200 L/h/portrait panel
  • 250 L/h/panel in landscape

Be careful not to exceed the maximum pressure of 2 bar in the panels when filling.

The isolation valve (6) is recommended to facilitate filling of a single line in case of multiple lines or to allow an intervention on a line without impacting the whole installation.

The filling valve (8) can be used to facilitate filling in the case of an installation on a flat roof or on the ground, with the possibility of handling and supplying energy to a mobile filling pump. The installation of filling valves allows to fill only a hydraulic line on which an intervention may be necessary, without isolating the rest of the installation.
