What material is used for the Spring panel heat exchanger?

The thermal heat exchanger of the Spring panels is made of polypropylene (more precisely, a Block-Copolymer).

This material is designed and tested to last 40 years in solar heating applications, which has been confirmed by a theoretical ageing study conducted by the PIMM laboratory of the CNRS, as well as accelerating ageing tests performed at the TÜV Rheinland laboratory.

Moreover, this material is already used for over decades in different types of similar applications.
