What happens if the water stagnates in the panels? Is there a risk of overheating?
No, there is no risk of overheating, this is a very critical point: In the case that there is little or no thermal demand on a DualSun installation (for instance, during summer months when the customers are on holiday) and the water stagnates in the panel, there is zero risk of overheating because the DualSun has a low "stagnation temperature" (maximal temperature) of 80°C. Thus, there is no risk of photovoltaic performance degradation nor of cracking/explosion under pressure. Note that the DualSun Spring panel has the additional advantage of being drainback-compatible!
