What should I do with my solar system when going on vacation?

In the event of holidays (no demand for domestic hot water), there is no risk of letting the water stagnate in the DualSun hybrid solar panels, thanks to their design preventing them from overheating.

However, it is possible to keep the hydraulic system activated to guarantee the cooling effect of the photovoltaic cells in order to increase their DualBoost electrical production efficiency

To do this, simply activate the tank cooling mode with holiday option on your DualSun regulation. This function cools the tank overnight to prepare it for heating the next day.

In the H-DAY menu, make the following settings:

Setting Description Adjustment range Recommended value
ORR Tank cooling option ON / OFF ON
DTRO Activation temperature difference 1,0 … 30,0 K 10,0 K
DTRF Switch-off temperature difference 0,5 … 29,5 K 5,0 K
TRRV Holiday tank cooling temperature 4 … 95 °C 30 °C

These settings become active only after activating the holiday function in the DAYS parameter. This parameter is accessible via the microkey (see its location in the figure below). It allows you to define the number of days of absence. A non-zero value activates the functions set in the H-DAY menu by counting down the remaining days from 00:00.
